Steven Perricone – President and CEO (Co-Founder)
Mr. Perricone has over 20 years experience in the technology industry, with over half of that in start-up environments. Most recently Mr. Perricone was Vice President of Worldwide Sales for SonicWALL (NASDAQ: SNWL). He joined SonicWALL when it had less than 20 employees and was instrumental in the growth of the company to over 450 employees worldwide. Mr. Perricone was directly responsible for building the worldwide channel for SonicWALL’s security products from the product line’s inception in 1998. That successful channel and sales organization contributed to near immediate company profitability and aggregate revenues of over $200 million in the first three years. Mr. Perricone specializes in building organizations and worldwide sales channels from inception - specifically for new technologies in emerging markets. Prior to SonicWALL he was a senior executive in two other technology start-ups, Network TeleSystems (acquired by Siemens) and Structured Internetworks.
Greg Anderson - Chief Scientist
As a chemical and membrane selective separation expert for over 24 years, Mr. Anderson has expertise extremely relevant to biofuel process development. Mr. Anderson spent 8 years as a key research scientist at SciMed LifeSystems where he received multiple commendations from the Board for technical innovation. That innovation contributed to an $850 million acquisition by Boston Scientific in 1996. He has directed research and development for a number of high-technology firms involved in biomedical science, separation science and fermentation. Mr. Anderson has invented novel silicone catalysts for the biomedical industry, one of the first hollow fiber membranes for blood oxygenation, and a large scale plasma polymerization machine for the creation of surface modified membranes for perm selective separations. Prior to joining BioFuelBox Mr. Anderson founded and was President of McBain Laboratories in Portland, Oregon, which is focused on design and commercialization of new technologies for innovative products, including a process for selective separation of natural product.
Marc Privitera – Vice President of Engineering
Mr. Privitera has over 20 years experience in engineering, manufacturing and research and development with the Clorox Company. Most recently Mr. Privitera was a Research Fellow scaling R&D prototypes into full production systems built on practical, data-driven experimentation. A hallmark of Mr. Privitera’s leadership is the passion and energy that he brings to technology and systems development. Engineering highlights during his career have included delivering the engineered systems for more than 20 common Clorox products. These systems are showcases of his unwavering commitment to quality, safety and hazardous materials handling. Prior to Clorox, Mr. Privitera worked at Proctor and Gamble.
Patricia Bright – Vice President of Sales (Co-Founder)
Ms. Bright co-founded BioFuelBox after a 20 year career building sales teams in the technology industry resulting in three IPOs. Most recently, Patricia was Vice President of International Sales for SonicWALL. While at SonicWALL she led the development of International sales channels worldwide, with a particular emphasis on emerging markets such as those in Asia and Latin America. She is also a start-up veteran; having been part of the early stage sales teams at two other successful start-ups - Xircom Inc. and Metacreations. Ms. Bright’s experience includes international sales and marketing, channel development and developing and managing international OEM accounts.
Richard Reddy - Vice President of Marketing
Mr. Reddy has over 15 years of experience in product and business development roles in high-tech startups. Rick most recently served as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for EventGnosis where he led the repositioning, re-branding and worldwide OEM relationships for the company. Prior to EventGnosis, he was the founder and Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for PacketMotion where he successfully raised two rounds of venture capital totaling $21 million and helped grow the company. Rick has also held business development and technical positions with SonicWALL, WinNet (acquired by ECI Telecom), Bay Networks/Nortel, Agile Networks (acquired by AT&T/Lucent) and NASA.
